Bagong Pag-asa Annual Report 2010
Bagong Pag-asa average 13 users per day. February and August are the busiest months.
This library does not have new library card holders.
Majority of the users are from the elementary grade level.
It has a collection of 967 volumes, down from 1,067 last 2009.
It held 37 activities, reaching to almost 3,289 persons in the community. They were aggressive in giving storytelling sessions and library orientations.
The library received an additional 5 computers from BH Foundation. Starting this month the library will be turned to a computer learning center from 8 to 12 noon. From 12 nn, onwards it will function as a library. The library is wi-fi enabled. Internet connection is provided by Barangay Pag-asa.
The library also have 2 library signages one for promotion, one for library sign.
The library must have a promotional plan in order to increase the attendance of library goers.
The library is being managed by Barangay Bagong Pag-asa with Cora Sesperes as librarian-in-charge and Susan Tamayo and Conchita Castro as assistants.
