Roxas Annual Report 2010
Roxas Library average 20 users per day. July and August are the busiest months.
It has 56 new library cardholders.
The total collection stand at 1,928 volumes,down from 2,653 volumes last 2009.
The collection of Generalities and Technology are the most popular to the users. Majority of its users come from the elementary age group.
It held 31 activities, reaching to almost 4,843 persons in the community. Its activities range from storytelling sessions (bible storytelling), tutorials, library orientations and filmshowings.
The library started to have internet since November 2010. The library was painted a new signage last July 2010 and the new fence was installed December 2010.
The late Kagawad Lozano also initiated the installation of a new fence for better visibility of the library.
The staff attended the trainings with the following topics: Sexual Harrasment; Indexing; Libreng Computer Tutorials Module; OPAC encoding; Report Making; Purpose Driven Life.
Wish list for 2010 is improvement of ventilation and additional 2-3 computer units and a wifi router. This is to attract more users into the library.
The Roxas Library is managed by Grace Ann Velez and assisted by Arlene de Borja.
