Galas Annual Report 2010
Galas Branch have an average users of 11 per day. July and October are the busiest months.
It has 39 new library card holders.
The collection stand at 1,679 volumes, down from 2,179 volumes in 2009.
It encoded all of its collection in Openbiblio database, numbering to 1,804.
The collection most used are Literature and the Newspapers. Majority of its users come from the elementary age group.
It held 10 activities for its community, mostly storytelling sessions and filmshowing.
A children's mural was painted through the efforts of both the Barangay and QCPL.
This branch did not attend any staff training.
This library have a low attendance, they should innovate and provide activities that will promote the library and its available services.
The Galas Library is supervised by Zeny Baltazar and assisted by Barangay Staff Mary Ann Santos.
