Pasong Tamo Annual Report 2010
Some points of interest:
This branch was able to do 22 activities for the community reaching to 994 persons. Majority of the activities are storytelling activities for Yakap Day Care pupils and streetchildren.
Although activities were geared towards toddlers, most users of this library come from seniors/ out of school youth age group.
The month with most users was December, followed by August 2010.
The type of material frequently used was newspapers, followed by internet.
This branch have a total collection of 2,102, up from 1,741 from last year.
The problem regarding frequent closures was solved by putting additional manpower last April.
This branch have a persistent problem regarding electricals, flourescent light and leaking roof. This was addressed by replacing the electrical outlets and roof. Grills for the door, dead bolt for the door and a new signage are being proposed.
The staff have attended the following trainings: Indexing, Report Making and Libreng Computer Tutorials Training module and Purpose Driven Life.
Pasong Tamo Branch is being supervised by Marivic Ocumen and assisted by Alma Pineda.
