Project 7 Annual Report 2010
Project 7 Library average 13 users per day. March and July are the busiest months.
It has no new library cardholders for 2010.
Total collection stand at 2,204 volumes. Last 2009, it was 2,044 volumes.
Geography and Language is the most popular collection. The library was visited mainly by elementary age group, followed by high school student age group.
The library held 25 activities, mostly storytelling sessions and library orientations. These activities reached almost 2,096 persons in the community.
The library was connected to the internet last November 2010. It also have a new signage.
The staff attended the trainings with the following topics: Indexing, Openbiblio encoding, Libreng Computer Tutorials module, and Purpose Driven Life.
It is suggested that wi-fi, additional computer and printer be installed in the library. It should also focus in increasing attendance to the library by marketing the library well and putting library activities that would be beneficial to the community.
It also needs new furniture and shelves. The ceiling in the comfort room needs to be replaced.
