Project 8 Annual Report 2010








Project 8 Library have an average users of 43 per day. November and October are the busiest months.

The library collection stand at 2,925, up from 2,676 in 2009.

The materials most consulted are newspapers followed by Natural Sciences. Most users of the library come from the elementary age group.

It was able to do 18 activities, mostly storytelling sessions.

The staff attended the following training with following topic: Personality Development; Libreng Computer Tutorial Module; and Purpose Driven Life.

The library started to have their internet last November 2010 in an airconditioned room and a printer was also provided.

It is suggested that the computers be upgraded and if possible 2-3 additional computer units be provided since this library have a high attendance. 1 computer monitor is unusable/ broken.

Project 8 Library is being managed by Marcia Moneda, complemented by 2 staff from the barangay, Benie Castro and Ricky Alcantara.
