Cubao Branch Annual Report 2010
Some points of interest:
Cubao Library has an average of 52 users per day. July and January is its busiest month.
This branch have consistently submitted their reports on time.
This branch had an additional 281 library card holders.
This branch was the first to finish encoding their collection in their Openbiblio database. This branch have a total collection of 3,632, up from 3,356 last 2009.
The collection most used are books on generalities, followed by newspapers and books on social sciences.
This branch was able to hold 40 events.
The staff was able to attend seminar/ trainings on the topic of information literacy; sexual harrasment, and Purpose Driven Life.
New signage were painted last July 2010. Electricals was rehabilitated last August 2010.
The library became wi-fi enabled last April 2010 and additional computer, printer and manpower was installed last December 2010.
The library was also featured in a website and a local TV station< NBN-4.
Pressing need of this library is ventilation. It has only one airconditioning unit with electric fans. Additional computer units, another 2, is also suggested since this branch have a high statistics of users.
Cubao Library is being managed by Irene Camua and assisted by Margarita Iliria and Ryan Untalan.
